Job Title: Civil Site Engineer – Aluminium & Glass WorksJob Summary

The Civil Site Engineer – Aluminium & Glass Works is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing aluminium, façade, curtain wall, glazing, and related civil works at the construction site. The role ensures that all works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site aluminium, glazing, curtain wall, windows, doors, skylights, and façade works
• Study and interpret shop drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to aluminium & glass works
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals
• Ensure installation is carried out as per approved shop drawings and manufacturer’s guidelines
• Monitor material deliveries, storage, and usage to avoid damage and wastage
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks for aluminium profiles, glass panels, sealants, fittings, and accessories
• Prepare daily site reports, work progress reports, and material reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with project schedule and assist in planning daily and weekly work activities
• Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies, or design conflicts related to façade works
• Coordinate with other trades (civil, MEP, finishing) to ensure smooth work flow
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site
• Assist in snag list preparation, rectification works, and final handover
• Requirements & Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or façade-intensive projects
• Understanding of testing procedures (water test, air infiltration test, structural sealant inspection, etc.)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in aluminium & glass / façade works (experience requirement can be adjusted)
• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, glazing methods, curtain wall systems, and façade details
• Familiar with construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Ability to manage site manpower and subcontractors
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
