Civil Supervisor

Job Summary

The Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating civil construction works at the project site. Duties include overseeing daily site activities, monitoring quality of work, ensuring compliance with project specifications, coordinating manpower and resources, and maintaining adherence to safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and solid technical knowledge of civil construction practices and methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction supervision in construction, oil & gas, or engineering industry, preferably in KOC projects
• Must possess a valid KOC PTW (Permit to Work) card
• Proficient in site supervision, documentation, permit procedures, and quality control practices
• Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Must have valid residency in Kuwait

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise daily civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and drawings.
• Assign tasks, guide site crews, and ensure effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Inspect ongoing and completed works, ensuring quality standards are met and corrective actions are taken where required.
• Prepare necessary documentation, reports and ensure all permits and approvals required for site activities are obtained and maintained in compliance with project requirements.
• Track daily progress, report site issues, and communicate updates to engineers and project management teams.
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and other site staff to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth operations.
