Job Title: Civil Technician

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Civil Technician with a proven track record of 3-5 years in the GCC region. The ideal candidate must be currently residing in Doha, Qatar, and possess a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC). You will be responsible for providing technical support and oversight on our construction sites, ensuring projects are executed according to specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Civil Engineers and Project Managers in the execution of civil engineering projects.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor daily site activities, progress, and resource utilization.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Verify the quality and quantity of construction materials received on site.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies on site.
• Identify potential issues or discrepancies on site and report them proactively.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and laborers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist in conducting quality control checks and tests on construction elements.
• Maintain accurate site records, logs, and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Civil Technician specifically within the GCC region (e.g., Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman).
• Must be currently residing in Doha, Qatar.
• Valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Qatar is a plus.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel). Basic CAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to safety on construction sites.
