Richard Design Services (RDS) is currently seeking highly skilled and experienced mid-level and senior-level Civil/Structural Designers to join our team.
Position Summary:
- We are seeking skilled and motivated Civil/Structural Designers to be part of our team at our Beaumont, TX office. The position will report to our Beaumont Office Civil/Structural Design Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include production of complex civil and structural design deliverables
- Prepares bulk material take-offs for civil and structural materials
- Reviews/checks design deliverables prior to issue
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma with some college level study required. Associate degree
preferred.
- Typically has 2 to 10 years of progressive experience in design, 3D modeling, and drawing creation.
- Familiar with the various process industry codes, standards and
specifications related to the design of civil works and structural facilities.
- Must be proficient with the following software:
- Autocad
- Cadworx Structure
- Navisworks
- Must possess a thorough understanding of laser scans, topographical survey data, and their usage in the design process.
- Must be able coordinate with other disciplines during the design process.
Work Environment:
- This position primarily is performed from Richard's home office located in Beaumont, TX, but may be posted temporarily on project sites, when required. Field site visits may be required regularly.
