POSITION SUMMARY

This position is focused on customer experience and involves answering phone calls, filing the first notice of loss, processing basic claims, and duties that support the timely and accurate processing of all claims.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Answer phone calls and assist in answering questions when able.
  • Communicate effectively with the claims reporter to obtain information needed to start the claim.
  • Manage and resolve basic claims such as auto glass, residential glass, and towing.
  • Assist with various processes required to facilitate the timely completion of a claim, including completing tasks and processing payments within the claims database.
  • Review all incoming mail and correspondence as assigned.
  • Adhere to company and department procedures.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or GED

Experience: Two years’ comparable experience pertinent to customer experience and/or insurance claims preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements: Participate in industry courses such as AIC and/or CPCU.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
