Cleaner/steward

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, storage rooms, and staff areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using manual or machine methods.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling procedures.
• Ensure floors, walls, drains, and work surfaces are cleaned regularly.
• Support kitchen and service staff during operations when required.
• Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow all hygiene, health, and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment.
• Assist in receiving and storing supplies following cleanliness standards.
