Cleanroom Engineer/ Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on professional with strong expertise in both engineering design and practical site execution. The role is suited for an experienced HVAC & MEP Engineer with proven knowledge in cleanroom design, BOQ preparation, and turnkey project management.

The ideal candidate should be capable of managing projects from concept design through installation, testing, and final handover, including technical design, estimation, coordination, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate complete MEP systems including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Low Current systems
• Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, ducting layout, ventilation design, and control systems
• Design cleanroom environments (medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and industrial) including:
• Air change calculations
• Pressure differentials
• Filtration systems (HEPA/ULPA)
• Prepare detailed BOQs, material take-offs, and project cost estimates
• Review engineering drawings and ensure coordination with architectural and structural designs
• Supervise MEP installation works at site and ensure quality execution
• Manage turnkey projects from concept design through testing and commissioning
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international engineering standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in MEP design and site supervision
• Strong experience in cleanroom design and controlled environments
• Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, and project costing
• Ability to independently manage complete MEP turnkey projects

Software Knowledge

• AutoCAD (Mandatory), knowledge of Revit is an advantage
• HVAC calculation software such as HAP or equivalent
• MS Excel for BOQ preparation and project estimation

We are looking for a practical and proactive engineer who understands design, costing, and on-site execution. The candidate should be capable of taking full responsibility for MEP and cleanroom projects and delivering them successfully with minimal supervision.
