Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO for a Professional Buyer with extensive technical expertise in CPSR related US Government procurement, electronics, and other commodities and services. The candidate must be able to function with considerable latitude and be able to determine objectives and assess approaches to tasks and assignments independently. The candidate must demonstrate ability to work with a team to improve processes, communicate effectively with internal and external customers, maintain supplier relationships, ensure compliant, effective, and efficient fulfilment of requirements, and report to senior management.
Experience and Skills:

• 10-15 years in US Government Procurement
• Proven expert in CPSR requirements and audits
• Bachelor's Degree in Business related field
• 3-5 years experience in Purchasing electronic parts and components
• Expert FAR/DFARS knowledge
• Some construction buying experience
• Effective communicator both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills
• Must current have an active Secret clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 15+ years in US Government Procurement
• Degree in Supply Chain Management

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000
