Job summary

Calling on all high-energy Sales Professionals who are looking to accomplish career growth by working with the latest Data Management and Cloud technology initiatives for customers. This role provides an opportunity to evangelize the technology strengths of NetApp and help customers in NetApp’s Enterprise segment develop a future-proof Data Platform.

Job requirements

  • Understanding of the Government procurement process and relationship / working experience with Ministry of Space
  • Experience in central ministry is preferred.
  • High-impact sales presentations and high-quality proposals & communication (written and verbal) with Government officials.
  • Structuring complex and large multivendor bids involving multiple partners.
  • Negotiation, persuasion, and closing public sector contracts.
  • Ecosystem building – channel partners and consultants.
  • Complex project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical specifications required to sell NetApp products and services.
  • Ability to leverage and bring together internal functions as well as partners.
  • Ability to gauge market trends and build appropriate business plans.
  • Good understanding of trends in the Enterprise space.
  • Experience handling large, complex projects.
  • Demonstrable CXO-level relationships in at least 5 Government customers.
  • Experience in selling high-end technology products or software.

Job responsibilities

  • Creating a strategy for the growth of NetApp technology across Central Government accounts
  • Developing both long-term and immediate account strategies, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Strategizing and driving sales campaigns for products and solutions.
  • Acting as a fulcrum to leverage teams at various ISVs / leading SI partners and domain specialists within NetApp.
  • Understanding the application landscape and customer needs.
  • Leading sales campaigns to provide a qualitative and competitive edge.
  • You will:
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure quarterly business objectives are met.
  • Engage with prospective organizations through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, references, and analyst data.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Pre-Sales Consultants, Executives, and Partners both within NetApp and the partner community.
  • Generate short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.

This is a highly strategic role for NetApp, and you will be responsible for actively driving customer interactions and the progress of NetApp technologies within Government accounts.
