Job Description

Overview

Onsite location is the IU Health Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. Opportunity for hybrid schedule.

Full-time Mon-Fri day shift.

Responsible for managing supply chain operational needs with a designated portfolio of non-acute business as well as supply chain system training support of requesters who order supplies across the state. Establishes ownership of business outcomes. Serves as primary liaison between various supply chain teams, suppliers/distributors, and sites. Establishes and manages positive relationships with the sites to ensure supply chain needs are met. Provides support to incoming requests via a ticketing system, tracking trends to support process improvements, training needs, communications and metrics. Educates sites on supply chain best practices, proprietary ordering systems, fundamentals of the procure-to-pay process to maximize opportunities and streamline operations. Assists service lines/sites with onboarding of new business, moves and closures for product and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Operational Ownership: Take full accountability for supply chain outcomes across the portfolio.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain teams, suppliers, distributors, and site stakeholders.
  • Site Enablement: Educate site personnel on supply chain best practices, ordering systems, and the procure-to-pay process.
  • Business Transitions: Support Team as needed on onboarding, relocations, and closures to ensure smooth product and service transitions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance supply chain efficiency

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applications.
  • Adept at learning new applications.
  • Excellent customer support, organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and an accomplished problem-solver.


Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or business related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • 0-3 years of related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applications required.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Strong analytical skills and an accomplished problem-solver.
