Job Profile

Job Purpose:

The Insurance Verification Executive is responsible for handling inbound and outbound communication with medical insurance companies to verify patient information, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. The role ensures accurate and timely verification while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational information security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with medical insurance companies to verify patient information
  • Communicate with insurance representatives to resolve queries related to eligibility, benefits, and authorizations
  • Perform patient eligibility and benefits verification as per client requirements
  • Coordinate with insurance companies while strictly following information security and privacy guidelines
  • Manage call queues and prioritize tasks as assigned by the Team Leader/Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and updates in systems
  • Provide daily task updates and sign-off to the Team Leader/Supervisor
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Follow organizational policies related to data protection and confidentiality
  • Safeguard company and client information from unauthorized access or misuse
  • Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by management

Tools / Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Prior experience in healthcare customer service or insurance verification (preferred but not mandatory)
