Job Overview

The General Manager serves as the top executive leader of the medical clinic, responsible for setting the strategic direction, overseeing operations, and ensuring the clinic delivers high-quality healthcare services while maintaining financial sustainability and compliance with healthcare regulations. The GM will work closely with the medical staff and management teams to drive growth, operational excellence, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the clinic’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy.

- Identify growth opportunities, including new services, partnerships, and market expansion.

- Provide an overview to the Chairman of strategic priorities and organizational performance.

- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.

- Oversee the reception team and nurses to ensure smooth operations and a patient-focused care environment.

- Manage doctors to align medical services with the clinic’s standards and objectives.

- Provide purchase approvals for the procurement team to ensure cost-effective and compliant purchasing.

- Oversee the marketing team to strengthen the clinic’s brand, patient outreach, and service promotion.

- Oversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain qualified medical and administrative staff.

- Implement policies, procedures, and performance standards to meet regulatory, clinical, and financial goals.

- Lead the development and adoption of innovative healthcare technologies and practices.

- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.

- Explore revenue streams, funding sources, and partnerships to enhance financial stability.

- Foster a culture of high-quality, ethical, and patient-centered healthcare.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

- Strengthen relationships with healthcare authorities, insurers, government agencies, and industry partners.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (clinical background is an advantage).

- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management.

- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and compliance.

- Demonstrated success in financial management, team leadership, and operational efficiency.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
