Clinic Medical Scribe

Scribing is an excellent opportunity to experience patient care alongside skilled physicians! You will learn and see something new every day, and no prior experience is needed. In other words, it is a great stepping stone to further your interests in the field of medicine. You will have the opportunity to work 1:1 with a provider and be able to build your network all while learning alongside medical professionals.

You have the flexibility to create your own schedule to work around your classes/responsibilities. In addition, if you have a specific specialty you would like to work with, let us know as we may be able to place you with your preferred specialty!

The primary purpose of the Medical Scribe is to bring more accuracy and organization to the physician by documenting 100% completion of their patient’s charts in a timely matter. These charts detail the physician-patient interaction in real-time through a paper or electronic medical record system. This position helps with increased provider productivity, patient satisfaction, and a more efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to complete, with a satisfactory score, the didactic and clinical training.
• Must provide all necessary documentation needed to be credentialed in a designated facility.
• Must have good time-management skills.
• Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and work well in high-pressure situations.
• Attention to detail and active listening skills
• Reliable means of transportation

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical notes and patient interactions during consultations.
• Maintain and organize electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with medical terminology and documentation standards.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and enhance workflow efficiency.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
