About The Opportunity

Join a patient-focused dental practice offering routine and restorative dental services to the local community. We are hiring an on-site Dental Clinical Assistant for our Iyyappanthangal-area clinic; freshers are welcome. Fixed split-shift timings, Sunday off, and a competitive stipend for entry-level candidates.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support during dental examinations and procedures—prepare instruments, pass tools, and assist the dentist efficiently.
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection-control protocols: clean, sterilize, and organize instruments and operatory areas.
• Prepare patients for treatment—seat patients, take medical history updates, and explain basic chairside instructions.
• Operate and assist with intraoral and extraoral radiography as directed; follow safety and exposure guidelines.
• Manage dental materials and impressions—mixing alginates, preparing trays, and labeling specimens accurately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling, inventory checks, and basic administrative tasks.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Certificate or diploma in Dental Assistant or equivalent training, or willingness to learn on the job
• Comfortable with split shifts: 10:00–13:00 and 17:00–21:00; Sunday holiday
• On-site availability in/around Iyyappanthangal (commute must be reliable)
• Basic knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
• Ability to perform chairside assisting and handle dental instruments safely
• Willingness to work as a fresher and participate in on-the-job training
  
  

Preferred

• Prior clinic or chairside exposure (internship, training, or short-term experience)
• Familiarity with electronic dental record systems or basic computer literacy
• Basic radiography training or certification
  
  

Compensation & Work Environment

• Salary: Rs. 12,000 per month (entry-level / fresher-friendly)
• Work type: On-site at Iyyappanthangal-area clinic; reliable local commute preferred
• Shift: Split shifts (10:00–13:00 and 17:00–21:00); Sunday off
