We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Data & PGx Guidelines Analyst to help us organize, interpret, and structure trusted clinical and pharmacogenomic guidelines for use in digital healthcare systems.
This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates in medicine, pharmacy, bioinformatics, or life sciences who are passionate about making sense of real-world clinical data and ensuring medical accuracy in decision support tools.
Your work will directly support the development of AI-powered clinical tools, but you are not required to code or develop AI models — your expertise in medical understanding and structured thinking is what we need.
- Interpret and summarize guidelines from FDA, CDC, USPSTF, ACOG, ADA, CMS , and others
- Define normal and abnormal ranges for vital signs and labs based on patient context:
- Age, Gender, Pregnancy status, Diagnosis (ICD-10), Medications
- Structure medical conditions, eligibility rules, and red flags into structured tables or templates
- Identify clinical conditions where certain tests or medications are recommended or contraindicated
- Work with data from PharmGKB, CPIC, FDA PGx drug labels , and other resources
- Extract and organize relationships between genes, drugs, and clinical recommendations
- Validate whether gene–drug relationships are clinically actionable (e.g., dose adjustment, warning)
- Annotate PGx datasets with appropriate identifiers (e.g., gene symbols, drug names, conditions)
- Support clinical summaries related to genetic testing eligibility or interpretation
Education (any one of the following):
- BSc / MSc in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences
- MPH, DPT, BS Nursing , or other life sciences / health degrees
- Final-year students may apply
Required Skills:
- Understanding of clinical concepts (vitals, labs, conditions, diagnoses, drug responses)
- Ability to interpret official medical guidelines or pharmacogenomic resources
- Familiarity with structured data entry (Google Sheets, Excel, dropdowns, tables)
- Ability to write clearly and professionally in English
Curiosity and comfort in reading medical content (e.g., FDA drug labels, PGx summaries)
- Experience with or exposure to PharmGKB, CPIC, ClinVar, or FDA PGx data
- Familiarity with ICD-10 codes, RxNorm drug names, CPTs, lab ranges
- Exposure to pregnancy-related lab variation , age-specific clinical standards, or dose adjustment logic
Research project, thesis, internship, or coursework in PGx, EHRs, or clinical decision-making
- Experience working with real-world medical and genetic data
- Exposure to digital health and decision support system development
