Summary of Requirement

Reem Hospital is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join its clinical team. This is a specialized clinical role, and only candidates who meet the mandatory licensing and experience criteria will be considered .

About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist will play a critical role in direct patient care by ensuring safe, effective, and evidence‑based medication management. The role requires active participation in clinical decision‑making, collaboration with physicians and nursing teams, and direct involvement in optimizing therapeutic outcomes for patients.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Review and evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, dosing, interactions, and contraindications
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical rounds and contribute to patient care plans
• Perform medication reconciliation and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Recommend evidence‑based pharmacotherapy and monitor patient response to treatment
• Provide medication counseling and clinical support to healthcare professionals and patients
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and DOH regulations
• Support clinical protocols, formularies, and medication‑use policies

Mandatory Requirements

⚠️ Applications that do not meet the below requirements will NOT be considered

• ✅ Valid Clinical Pharmacist license issued by the Department of Health (DOH – Abu Dhabi)

OR

• ✅ Passed the Clinical Pharmacy examination (DOH / DHA / MOH) with active eligibility to practice as a Clinical Pharmacist
• ✅ Minimum 4–5 years of hands‑on clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• ✅ Proven experience in clinical medication management (not dispensing‑only or retail pharmacy roles)
• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, clinical guidelines, and patient safety practices
• Arabic‑speaking candidates are preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
