Job Summary
The Cloud and Systems Administrator provide day-to-day administration and operational support for the organization’s Microsoft-based infrastructure and security platforms. The role focuses on Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access management, endpoint management, and server operations, working under established policies, procedures, and senior technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration

Perform user onboarding and offboarding activities including account creation, license assignment, mailbox access, and access removal

Administer Microsoft 365 groups, distribution lists, security groups, and group memberships

Support daily administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams

Assist in applying Group Policies and standard access controls as defined by IT standards
Identity & Access Management

Administer Active Directory user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs)

Support Azure Active Directory / Entra ID user and group management
-
Assist in implementing and maintaining Conditional Access policies, MFA enforcement, and access reviews

Follow least-privilege and role-based access guidelines
Endpoint & Device Management

Support Microsoft Intune device enrolment and user onboarding
-
Apply and monitor device compliance and configuration policies
-
Assist with application deployment and endpoint troubleshooting
-
Escalate complex endpoint issues to Supervisors/ Managers.
Server Administration

Perform routine Windows Server administration tasks such as user access, service monitoring, patching support, and basic troubleshooting

Monitor server health and report performance or security issues
-
Assist with backups, restores, and scheduled maintenance activities
Security Operations & Compliance Support

Support implementation of security policies and standard controls on IT Infrastructure

Monitor and respond to basic security alerts related to users, devices, and servers

Assist in Patching and vulnerability remediation activities under guidance

Support audits, compliance checks, and security documentation
Documentation & Operational Support

Provide the technical support and incident resolution within defined SLAs
-
Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve operational issues

Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and migrations as assigned
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
-
2–4 years of experience in IT systems or security operations
-
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration

Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
-
Basic experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
-
Familiarity with Conditional Access, MFA, and identity security concepts
Preferred Skills & Certifications

Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300)

Exposure to hybrid AD and cloud environments
-
Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance concepts
-
Good troubleshooting and documentation skills
-
Willingness to learn and grow into advanced security and system roles
