Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and Caregivers to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care across a variety of settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and home care environments. Duties

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
  • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR systems)
  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper protocols are followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, utilizing techniques like memory care strategies and aseptic techniques
  • Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy support, and wound care as trained
  • Operate patient lifts including Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers while preventing injury to patients and staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver comprehensive patient service

Skills

  • Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
  • Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) procedures
  • Experience in various healthcare environments including long-term care, hospital medicine, hospice care, or outpatient clinics
  • Ability to perform patient assessments by monitoring vital signs and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration
  • Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
  • Competence in infection control practices and aseptic techniques across diverse clinical settings
