CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:

Strategic Thermal Labs is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator who is interested joining our second shift manufacturing team.

Located in Georgetown, TX, STL is a startup team of industry experts working to advance and produce the world’s highest performing, most efficient heat transfer solutions to support the transformation of Data Center cooling. The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines while ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
  • Programming: Load CNC programs and make necessary adjustments to machine settings to achieve optimal performance and precision.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and established quality standards.
  • Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure precision and quality in all tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and see through to resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.09 - $27.81 per hour
