At Boeing Sheffield, we celebrate our unique way of transforming our lean Production System to align the site’s safety, quality and continuous improvement plans. We are looking for CNC Machinists, reporting into the Operations Manager, to join one of our Shift teams that will be fully engaged and adaptable, will be team players and problem solvers, and will be excellent communicators.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
Set-up / changeover and or operate a range of Mill-turn/ Twin Turret / CNC Grinding Machines or Sliding head machines and machining centers by installing and adjusting work holding, tooling and tool wear offsetsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Skilled, time-served engineer with experience of setting and operating CNC machinePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
A strong working knowledge of cutting tool setting and applications and competent with the use of complex fixturesBecoming and Boeing Employee
