CNC Machinist/Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines according to engineering specifications and work orders
• Operate CNC equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure precision and quality
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery
• Inspect finished products to verify dimensions and quality standards are met
• Record production data accurately and maintain detailed logs of machine activity
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to optimise manufacturing processes
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively
• Attention to detail with a focus on producing precise, high-quality components
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to machine operation
• Nice-to-have: experience with different types of CNC machines such as milling or turning centres; familiarity with programming languages like G-code or M-code; relevant technical qualifications or certifications

Pay: £39,180.00-£53,740.00 per year
