Co-Teacher – Infant/Baby Room

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Co-Teacher for our Infant Room to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and creating a safe, nurturing environment for our youngest learners.

Position Overview

As an Infant Co-Teacher, you will work alongside a lead teacher to provide attentive care, support developmental milestones, and maintain a structured, loving classroom environment for infants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants throughout the day
• Perform routine care duties
• Diaper changing
• Bottle feedings
• Maintaining feeding and sleeping schedules
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Assist with room setup, organization, and daily sanitation
• Support age-appropriate activities that promote development
• Follow all state licensing rules and regulations
• Maintain open and professional communication with staff and families
Monitor children’s health, safety, and well-being at all times

Qualifications

• Experience working with infants preferred (childcare or related field)
• CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented
Must meet all state requirements for childcare staff
