Duties

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, pastries, and other supplies.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while ensuring efficient service delivery.

Experience

• Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Experience in the food service industry is a plus, particularly in cafés or retail settings.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
