Commercial HVAC Pipefitter – Hydronic Systems

We are currently hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Pipefitters for large commercial mechanical construction projects in Austin, TX.

These positions will be working with one of the top mechanical contractors in the Austin market installing hydronic HVAC piping systems, including chilled water and heating hot water systems.

This is a great opportunity for pipefitters looking for steady work on large commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC piping systems
• Work with chilled water and heating hot water systems
• Install and fit carbon steel and copper piping
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Cut, thread, groove, braze, or weld pipe
• Install pipe supports, valves, pumps, and mechanical equipment
• Maintain jobsite safety standards

Requirements

• Experience installing commercial HVAC piping systems
• Experience working with carbon steel and copper pipe
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Must have basic hand tools for the trade
• Reliable and safety-minded
• Ability to work in a commercial construction environment
