As a Commercial Painter, you will be responsible for transforming spaces with precision, creativity, and efficiency, ensuring every surface is flawlessly finished and aesthetically appealing. Your work will contribute directly to the enhancement and restoration of commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and renovation sites, making a lasting impact on our clients’ environments.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Execute painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other industry-standard methods to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
  • Apply various coatings including industrial paints, stucco finishes, masonry sealants, and restoration paints on diverse surfaces such as concrete, masonry, wood trim, and drywall.
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry and framing when necessary for renovation or remodeling projects.
  • Install fixtures and perform maintenance or repair work related to painting projects to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards on busy construction sites.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of color theory for selecting appropriate hues that enhance design goals.
  • Proven expertise in residential painting alongside commercial painting projects across various industries.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint sprayers for efficient application.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project specifications precisely.
  • Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, welding, concrete finishing, and masonry techniques.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate project execution.
  • Experience with maintenance tasks related to construction sites or facilities management.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
