Commercial Quality Specialist – 12 Months Renewable Contract | Dubai, UAE (FMCG)

Scope & Dimension of the Role

The Commercial Quality Specialist ensures that all business activities within ME Dubai comply with the quality standards outlined in the Quality Management System (QMS), relevant policies, and local procedures. This role serves as a representative of the Quality function within the local organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Solid understanding of Quality Business Management principles and guidelines.

Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and their role in maintaining product quality throughout the supply chain.

Commercial Quality Specialist is taking responsibility for the below activities:

• Ensure compliance with quality standards during New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) releases, including inspections at the Distribution Center (DC) in accordance with Local or Regional Release for Sale SOPs.

• Review and approve mock-up samples and work instructions in line with Local or Regional Embellishment SOPs.

• Support the Commercial Quality Manager in conducting self-inspections and audits of third-party providers.

• Promote a positive image of Commercial Quality within the ME Business Unit by providing ongoing support and expertise to other departments.

• Execute quality processes as defined in Local, Regional, and Global SOPs, following the ME BU Quality Handbook.

• Maintain and update ME BU Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and manage actions related to Global Reporting.

• Support in managing complaints, deviations, change controls, and CAPA within the ME BU.

• Achieve objectives set during weekly meetings with the Commercial Quality Manager.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Responsible to support the Commercial Quality Manager ME to enable to develop and implement the local QMS to ensure fully compliant products.

Work with local functions to develop and maintain all relevant procedures in line with the requirements of the global & associated policies, relevant codes of practice and GMP/GDP and local requirements.

Participating in weekly project calls.

Ensure processes are in place to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the local QMS.

Support Commercial Quality Manager ME and deliver objectives and results as per given tasks.

Competence Required

Professional Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, biology, biotechnology or industrial engineering.

Clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy, and compliance risks.

Good understanding of typical Hygiene Home/Health requirements.

Good understanding on Quality management system and standards.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
