Commercial Real Estate Associate—BigLaw NYC (Exclusive, Non-public Search)

I am an experienced legal recruiter (430 placements, 18 years) and Harvard Law School graduate.

I have been exclusively retained by a major international law firm on a non-public search that seeks a talented commercial real estate associate for its top-tier NYC real estate practice. The firm offers world-class resources, sophisticated clientele, and top-market compensation in a collegial team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial real estate transactions focused on purchases, sales, and joint ventures
• Deal with issues involving financing, leasing, and land use matters
• Direct client interaction and relationship management
• Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

What the Firm Seeks:

• Ideally three to six years of broad commercial real estate experience, but open to either real estate specialists or corporate/M&A associates with a significant interest in transitioning to broad commercial real estate role
• Solid drafting skills
• Experience-commensurate skills in managing matters independently
• Will consider seventh or eighth year associates willing to adjust class year
