Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Guest & Brady, LLC, a well-established law firm serving South Carolina and North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Greenville office. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a key role in developing and growing the firm’s commercial real estate division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing.
  • Prepare, review, and organize documents including purchase agreements, loan documents, title commitments, closing statements, and entity documentation.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, brokers, title companies, and clients to ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, entity verification, and UCC searches.
  • Draft and track closing checklists, escrow instructions, and post closing packages.
  • Maintain accurate files, deadlines, and communication across all parties.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices for the commercial division.
  • Assist in marketing and relationship building efforts with commercial brokers, developers, and lenders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate law or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial purchase, sale, and lending transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex files independently.
  • Proficiency in title software, Microsoft Office, and document management platforms.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to professionalism.
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership potential to help shape a new division.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with multi property portfolios, construction loans, and entity formation.
  • Familiarity with Filevine, Qualia, or other closing management software.
  • Prior experience working directly with attorneys and firm leadership to improve workflow and client service.
