Commercial Transaction / Real Estate Paralegal

TempExperts is seeking an experienced Commercial Transaction / Real Estate Paralegal for a respected national law firm in Coral Gables, FL. This position supports attorneys in handling a wide range of commercial and residential real estate transactions, ensuring seamless coordination from due diligence through closing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of title, survey, and loan documentation processes, along with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update closing checklists, closing documents, and escrow instructions for real estate transactions.
  • Order and review tract, ownership, judgment, tax lien, and UCC searches.
  • Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, title policies, and endorsements.
  • Obtain duplicate tax bills, estimates of redemption, and entity documents such as Certificates of Good Standing and Articles of Formation.
  • Prepare and respond to title objection letters; coordinate with title companies to resolve clearance matters.
  • Draft and review mortgages, assignments, financing, and loan documents.
  • Review zoning applications and related due diligence materials.
  • Coordinate closings and ensure timely submission and accuracy of all documents.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, lenders, title companies, and clients to facilitate transactions.

Requirements/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certificate required.
  • 3–5 years of commercial and transactional real estate paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
  • Strong understanding of title, escrow, survey, and loan documentation processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, leases, and contracts.
  • Experience balancing escrow disbursements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with title company systems and forms.
