We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Commi 1 Chef with a strong background in Tandoori preparations. The ideal candidate should be experienced in handling spices, traditional cooking methods, and tandoor ovens, and must maintain high standards of hygiene, food quality, and kitchen discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic dishes and Tandoori items as per the menu.
• Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages in a timely manner.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Tandoori cooking
• Knowledge of spices, curries, breads (like naan, roti), and tandoor operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Formal culinary training or diploma is an advantage.
