Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and other bakery items according to recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of desserts, chocolates, and specialty bakery items.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and pastry workstations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Assist in inventory control, including checking ingredients and notifying the chef of shortages.
  • Support senior pastry chefs in creating new menu items and seasonal specialties.
  • Adhere to portion control, quality, and presentation standards for all products.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Pastry Chef or Sous Chef

Working Conditions:

  • Shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically demanding work including standing for long periods and handling hot equipment.
