Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items, with a strong focus on Thai and Asian cuisine.
  • Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure proper cooking standards.
  • Pull food from freezer storage and thaw safely in the refrigerator.
  • Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish of dishes while maintaining accurate food logs.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food being prepared.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and request assistance during busy periods.
  • Inform the Chef of excess food items for potential use in daily specials.
  • Update Food & Beverage service staff regarding menu specials and unavailable items.
  • Ensure all food items meet quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in preparing and presenting Thai and Asian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
