Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare special meals or substitute items, with a strong focus on Thai and Asian cuisine.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure proper cooking standards.
- Pull food from freezer storage and thaw safely in the refrigerator.
- Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish of dishes while maintaining accurate food logs.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food being prepared.
- Communicate effectively with team members and request assistance during busy periods.
- Inform the Chef of excess food items for potential use in daily specials.
- Update Food & Beverage service staff regarding menu specials and unavailable items.
- Ensure all food items meet quality and presentation standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting Thai and Asian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
