Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven Marketing and Communications Specialist to manage and enhance our brand messaging, marketing campaigns, and internal/external communications. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns to promote the organization’s products or services.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with designers and vendors for promotional materials and ensure brand consistency.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics (ROI, engagement, reach, etc.).
  • Manage the content and updates of websites, blogs, and social media platforms.

Communications Duties:

  • Craft compelling content for press releases, newsletters, internal announcements, and promotional materials.
  • Act as the liaison between the company and media outlets; coordinate interviews and press opportunities.
  • Support crisis communication strategies and ensure alignment with the company’s voice.
  • Maintain internal communication channels and support employee engagement efforts.
  • Help manage communication calendars and ensure timely delivery of key messages.
  • Monitor and deliver messages to employees based on milestones of anniversaries, goals, and service production.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar marketing/communications role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Proficiency in design and media tools is a plus (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Experience with all social media platforms, algorithms, posting times for views, advertising, financial impact from advertising
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and email marketing software.
  • Familiarity with branding and storytelling techniques.
  • Ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
