Position Summary
The Communications and Web Manager supports the strategy, development, and execution of the college’s internal and external communications needs and web presence. This role also ensures that all web content is accurate and engaging for prospective audiences. In addition, the C&W Manager ensures that the web content is aligned with institutional brand, enrollment strategy, and community engagement goals. The position collaborates closely with the central marketing team, enrollment leadership, senior administrators, and broader campus stakeholders to support advancing the college through several communication channels
Key Responsibilities
Web Strategy and Management

Manage the college’s primary website ensuring usability, accessibility (ADA/WCAG compliance), accuracy, and brand consistency.

Develop and implement web content strategies that support enrollment, retention, fundraising, and community outreach.

Oversee website needs, architecture and navigations with third-party partner.

Monitor website performance using analytics tools and make data-informed recommendations for improvement.

Coordinate regular content audits and updates across academic and administrative pages.
Communications and Content

Plan, write, edit, and publish high-quality content for web pages, internal communications, story telling, and other communication needs.

Draft and support social media content aligned with institutional messaging and campaigns.

Gather stores, quotes, photos, and videos to support communication initiatives.

Develop editorial calendars and messaging plans in collaboration with the marketing and communications staff.

Ensure consistent voice, tone, and messaging across all communications.

Support crisis communications and time-sensitive updates as needed.
Collaboration and Project Management

Serve as a primary web and communications contact for internal campus stakeholders needs.

Manage multiple web and communications projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and priorities.

Coordinate with IT, admissions, advancement, student affairs, and academic departments on communication initiatives.

Train and support content contributors on CMS use, web best practices, and accessibility standards
Brand, Accessibility, and Compliance

Enforce institutional brand standards across platforms.

Ensure compliance with accessibility, privacy, and higher-education regulatory requirements.

Stay current on trends in higher-education marketing, digital communications, and web technologies.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, web design, digital media or a related field

2-3 years of experience in digital communications, web management, or marketing

Strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate across departments.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education

Experience managing websites using a content management system (CMS)

Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools
