Communications Associate

We're a 501c3 looking for a strong Christian with 1-2 years of experience as a Communications Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong social media management skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. This role involves developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively convey our message to various audiences. You'll be responsible for creating engaging content while maintaining a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media campaigns while maintaining daily platform management, including weekend coverage
• Create and schedule engaging content across various communication channels that aligns with organizational messaging
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging in all communications

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain content calendars and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to understand audience needs and tailor communications accordingly

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Social Media Management
• Communication
• 1-2 years of Social Media Platform Proficiency
• Mature Christian
• Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox Proficient
• Ability to be on-call daily (including Sundays)
• 1-2 years of Copywriting experience
• 1-2 years of experience Posting and scheduling content
• 1-2 years of Social media campaign execution experience
• Committed to Biblical and Christian principles, and to the ministry and mission of First Baptist Dallas

Nice to Have

• BA in communications or adjacent degree
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic graphic design
• Basic video editing
