Job Description
- Develop creative, effective PR plans in line with client brief and targets.
- Create a range of materials including media releases, pitch decks, interview briefings and social media content for various clients
- Attend client meetings and regularly communicate with clients through other channels.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with journalists, influencers and other media contacts. Respond to any queries when needed.
- Develop and pitch press releases and feature ideas to journalists and influencers, across print, broadcast and online to interest them in covering clients’ stories.
- Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople and facilitate these meetings where appropriate.
- Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients. Deliver analytics reports on media coverage, traffic, engagement, followers and other relevant metrics.
- Work collaboratively with members of other teams (i.e. Digital and Creative & Content) to ensure smooth project delivery across team members.
- Participate in pitches and other brainstorming activities to develop fresh ideas in support of business development
- Provide high quality, responsive and timely service to existing clients. Take new client calls when required to introduce our agency and brief new clients on our services.
Job Requirements
- Public Relations, Marketing, and Communications skills
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
- Has worked in the UAE for 1-2 years in a UAE Public Relations agency
- Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking and writing)
- Network of media contacts in the UAE
- Strong writing and editing abilities
- Experience in media relations, influencer engagement and press release writing
- Social Media knowledge
- Ability to build relationships, trust and credibility with clients, colleagues, journalists and other stakeholders.
- An ability to work independently to meet deadlines, seeking guidance when required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- This is a hybrid role within UAE - work from home with regular in-person meetings required at the office, along with events
- Interested candidates must submit a portfolio of their most recent PR work (press releases, campaigns you’ve handled, ideated or pitched).
- NOTE: This role is NOT for PRO's. This is role is purely for Public Relations/Media/Communications.
