Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Public Relations & Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end UAE labour, immigration, and government relations operations for our organization.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in handling key UAE government portals and compliance processes, including MOHRE, GDRFA, WPS, RTA, DU/Etisalat, and other related regulatory platforms.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing PRO services, visa processing, labour compliance, licensing coordination, and vendor relationships, ensuring smooth operational execution and adherence to UAE labour and immigration laws.

Key Responsibilities

Government Portal Operations & Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day operations across UAE government portals, including:
  • MOHRE
  • GDRFA
  • WPS
  • RTA
  • DU / Etisalat
  • Execute employee-related processes such as visa applications, labour contracts, quota management, and compliance submissions.

Visa & Labour Processing

  • Prepare and process all documentation related to:
  • Offer letters and labour approvals
  • Medical typing and Emirates ID coordination
  • Insurance registration and renewals
  • Visa stamping through authorized channels (Amer, Tasheel, GDRFA)
  • Ensure timely handling of visa renewals, cancellations, and immigration updates.

WPS, Quota & Regulatory Submissions

  • Manage WPS submissions, reporting, and compliance requirements accurately and within deadlines.
  • Handle quota applications, absconding cases, insurance renewals, and related labour matters efficiently.

Vendor & Government Relations Management

  • Maintain strong working relationships with government authorities, service providers, brokers, and external vendors to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to streamline operational processes and reduce turnaround times.

Licensing & Documentation Support

  • Support trade licence renewals, DED documentation, and other regulatory filings as required.
  • Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready records for all immigration, employment, and insurance activities.

Tracking, Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Develop and maintain tracking dashboards for:
  • Visa status and expiry monitoring
  • Quota utilization
  • WPS submissions
  • Insurance renewals and deadlines
  • Liaise closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Legal teams to ensure seamless operational alignment and compliance.

Policy Awareness & Continuous Updates

  • Stay up-to-date with UAE labour laws, visa policies, and government portal changes to ensure accurate and compliant practices at all times.

Candidate Profile & RequirementsExperience

  • 3–6 years of direct, hands-on experience managing UAE labour and immigration operations, including MOHRE, GDRFA, WPS, and RTA processes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline (preferred).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in UAE government portals and regulatory systems.
  • Advanced documentation and reporting skills, with strong command of MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and vendor management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Thorough understanding of:
  • UAE Labour Law
  • Visa and immigration procedures
  • Insurance processing and renewals
  • Trade licensing and company compliance frameworks

Languages

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
