Compensation Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The Compensation Analyst provides analytical and administrative support to the Compensation team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of University Health’s compensation programs, policies, and systems. This position assists with the collection, review, and analysis of jobs, pay, and market data to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources, this role supports the daily operations of the compensation function, including position control updates, job evaluations, market data review, and equity maintenance. The Compensation Analyst also assists with processing position requests, preparing pay recommendations, and compiling reports to support departmental and organizational decision-making. This position also helps maintain the integrity of compensation data in HR systems, participates in audits and testing, and contributes to the continuous improvement of compensation workflows and reporting tools. The Compensation Analyst partners with department leadership to ensure timely and accurate responses to compensation inquiries while promoting University Health’s commitment to equitable pay practices and service excellence.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred. Two years of Human Resources experience is required. PeopleSoft experience is preferred. Strong understanding of Human Resources processes, HRIS database design, structure, functions, and experience with database tools. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects is required.
