Compliance Officer

As we continue our exciting growth plans, we seek talented people to join us. We are currently hiring a dynamic Compliance Officer who will be responsible to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices. The role will possess specialized knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in the area of compliance, to use independent judgment in the performance of their duties and be capable of carrying out work with little guidance or supervision as per the set standards.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
2. Conduct compliance monitoring and testing reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements.
3. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, coordinating responses, and implementing corrective actions based on audit findings and recommendations
4. Follow and monitor KYC, risk assessment, due diligence, and policies around AML and UBO framework and processes.
5. Follow proper compliance industry standards, including Compliance Committee practices, delegation of authority, and maintaining a strong compliance culture.
6. Perform other tasks as directed by the line manager as needed.

To join our team, you will have:

• ACAMS certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• High proficiency and understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Compliance and knowledge of AML laws and regulation and Economic Substance Regulation procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Integrity.

Language skills:

• English.
• Any second language is desirable.
