Concrete Repair Engineer

Job Brief:

Are you a Concrete Restoration Certified Civil Engineer with strong UAE experience in structural repair, rehabilitation, and strengthening works?

We are seeking a technically sound and site-driven Civil Engineer to support and manage specialized concrete restoration and rehabilitation projects in Dubai. The role involves hands-on supervision of repair works, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring strict compliance with approved methodologies, quality standards, and project timelines.

This position is ideal for professionals experienced in industrial, commercial, or high-rise rehabilitation projects who can deliver complex restoration works efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Concrete Restoration & Structural Works

• Manage and supervise concrete restoration and structural strengthening activities.
• Oversee works including column jacketing, slab thickening, CFRP installation, micro-concrete casting, crack injection, grouting, and structural repairs.
• Ensure correct application of repair materials and systems as per approved specifications.

Project Monitoring & Control

• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules.
• Identify delays, technical issues, and corrective actions.
• Support planning and scheduling activities (Primavera P6 knowledge preferred).

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Manage site logistics, manpower, materials, and equipment planning.
• Ensure smooth execution of site activities.

QA/QC & Method Statements

• Ensure strict compliance with approved method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate approvals with consultants and clients.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications and industry standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Maintain technical documentation, inspection records, and site logs.
• Support project reporting and handover documentation.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Concrete Restoration / Structural Rehabilitation Certification (Mandatory).

Experience

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in concrete repair, restoration, and strengthening projects.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or high-rise rehabilitation works is required.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of repair materials and systems, including epoxy, micro-concrete, grouting systems, CFRP, and injection techniques.
• Understanding of structural repair methodologies and sequencing.
• Primavera P6 knowledge (preferred).

Soft Skills

• Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and subcontractors.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.

License

• Valid UAE Driving License with own car (Mandatory).
