Job Overview
Riverview Exterior Construction LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for large-scale multifamily exterior projects across the Southeast. This role requires a strong understanding of siding, roofing, and specialty building envelope systems, along with the ability to collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and vendors. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in winning projects that define communities and help shape our company's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bids for multifamily exterior siding and roofing projects.

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine scope and requirements.

Collaborate with project managers and leadership to review proposals and finalize bids.

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes, ensuring scope coverage and cost competitiveness.

Maintain accurate cost databases and unit pricing to support future estimates.

Prepare bid clarifications, qualifications, and scope breakdowns for submission.

Track bid opportunities, due dates, and ensure timely delivery of proposals.

Support handoff meetings to transition awarded projects to project management teams.

Perform occasional site visits to review conditions, validate assumptions, and support accurate pricing.
Qualifications

2-5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or multifamily construction (siding, roofing, or building envelope strongly preferred).

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, details, and specifications.

Strong knowledge of exterior systems including fiber cement, vinyl, engineered wood siding, and roofing materials.

Experience using estimating and construction software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, PlanGrid).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and math skills with attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related office tools.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
