Construction Laborer

Scout Industries is seeking a Temporary General Laborer for a solar installation project estimated to last approximately 7 days. The primary responsibility will be assisting with the handling and positioning of solar panels on an elevated structure, as well as supporting general construction site activities.

This is a short-term contract position expected to last about one week, depending on project needs and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the handling, movement, and positioning of solar panels
• Support installation teams with general labor tasks on a construction site
• Follow all job site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Work effectively with team members to complete assigned tasks

Prerequisites

• Experience working on construction worksites preferred
• Reliable and able to commit to the project duration
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically active environment
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience using construction tools or machinery preferred
• Solar industry experience is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds independently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Comfortable working on elevated structures and active construction sites
