Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E) or equivalent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project / Construction Manager to oversee and manage large-scale civil and structural construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, site supervision, client coordination, and multi-disciplinary engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and deliver all project phases from design development, tendering, and construction to handover.
• Monitor construction progress, perform site inspections, and ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.
• Review and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost plans, and quality control measures.
• Implement risk management strategies and ensure mitigation of potential project delays, cost overruns, and scope changes.
• Liaise with local authorities for licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular reporting on project status, progress, issues, and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee procurement activities, including BOQ review, tender evaluations, and contract administration.
• Mentor and manage project teams, providing guidance on technical, operational, and procedural matters.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions and document project experiences for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience managing high-value projects in the UAE, including residential, retail, and mixed-use developments.
• Strong technical knowledge in civil and structural engineering.
• Expertise in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, Primavera, MS Excel, and project management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
