Job Description:

The Construction Manager (Infrastructure) is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all stages of infrastructure construction projects such as roads, bridges, drainage, utilities, and other civil works. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Supervise site operations and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, and prepare regular status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality control standards.
  • Manage site inspections and approvals with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
  • Identify and resolve technical or operational issues on-site.
  • Oversee resource planning, material procurement, and manpower allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and manage project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in infrastructure or civil works projects.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, drainage, utilities).
  • Proficient in project management tools and MS Office applications.
  • Familiar with local construction regulations, health & safety standards, and authority approval processes.
