DBL – Design Build Live is a dynamic design-build construction company delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee on-site execution, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Role Overview

The Construction Manager will be responsible for supervising site operations, managing construction teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
• Manage site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Develop and implement construction schedules in coordination with project management.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with construction standards.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure adherence to local building regulations.
• Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Review material usage and control wastage to optimize costs.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical and operational issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, and clients during site visits.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities, variations, and approvals.
• Support project handover processes and ensure snag-free completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction site management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Sound knowledge of safety standards, quality assurance, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple site operations efficiently under deadlines.
