Construction Manager

Job Title: Construction Manager (Civil)

Location: United Arab Emirates
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in civil contracting (UAE experience)

Job Summary:

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual specifications and local authority regulations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Ensure compliance with UAE authorities’ regulations (e.g., municipality, civil defense, etc.).
• Review and approve method statements, work schedules, and material submittals.
• Control project costs and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Resolve technical and operational issues on site.
• Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams.
• Ensure timely inspection requests and approvals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil construction projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
