Construction Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction, with a strong focus on site management
• Proven experience in real estate, infrastructure, and camp projects
• Extensive experience working in Oman/GCC countries
• Demonstrated track record managing projects of similar scale and value

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution of works
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders for smooth execution
• Monitor construction progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions
• Review and approve method statements, work procedures, and site plans
• Manage resource allocation including manpower, equipment, and materials

Technical Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site operations
• Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and authority approvals in Oman/GCC
• Understanding of contract management (FIDIC or similar standards)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents

Health, Safety & Quality:

• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and site safety regulations
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety standards on-site
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards

Leadership & Management:

• Lead and manage site teams, engineers, and supervisors
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple work fronts and complex site challenges

Pay: RO800.000 - RO1,300.000 per month
