Construction Manager (MECH)

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a contracting firm proving end-to-end for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing works. Our company is the sister firm of IZHAR construction company Pvt Ltd. MEP Solutions is seeking a full-time on-site Construction Manager to join our team in Karachi at HMR Project.

Job Description:

Plumbing Systems Management:

• Supervise design review, execution, and testing/commissioning of potable water, drainage, wastewater, and vent systems.
• Coordinate and ensure quality for water supply, sewerage, storm drainage, and irrigation systems.

Outfit Works Supervision:

• Manage installation of kitchen, pantry, bathroom, and utility area outfits (fixtures, fittings, and accessories).
• Oversee procurement follow-up and installation verification of plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, and sanitary wares.

Coordination with MEP & Civil Teams:

• Align mechanical works with the civil finishing schedule.
• Manage cross-disciplinary interfaces with civil, electrical, interior, and HVAC teams.

Technical Expertise & Standards Compliance:

• Ensure works comply with national plumbing codes and project specifications.
• Review and manage approvals for as-built drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.

Quality & Safety Oversight:

• Implement QA/QC procedures, conduct site inspections, and close snag lists.
• Maintain HSE standards during plumbing and outfit installations.

Manpower & Resource Management:

• Plan and monitor site activities of subcontractors, foremen, and labor teams.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to project manager.

Material Handling & Procurement Coordination:

• Verify BOQs, manage material approvals, and coordinate timely deliveries.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover:

• Supervise hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, flushing, and final commissioning activities.
• Prepare handover documentation and coordinate final client inspections.

Target & Commitment Driven:

• Must be target-oriented and capable of meeting settled targets with management.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of commitments made to clients.

Qualification: BSc/B-Tech/DAE Mech Mechanical

Experience: 10 Years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs140,000.00 per month
