Construction Project Director

Dahis Sanitary Ware Trading LLC is a leading supplier of high-quality sanitary ware products in the UAE. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Director to join our dynamic team. As the Construction Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction projects from inception to completion. This includes leading, coordinating, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, suppliers, and senior management, to ensure that all project requirements and expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring smooth project delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and risk management.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor the project team, ensuring all personnel are motivated, skilled, and working towards project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and control project budgets, tracking costs and ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays or additional costs.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to senior management, highlighting any challenges or deviations from the project plan.
  • Problem Solving: Address any technical, financial, or operational issues that arise during the construction phase, ensuring quick resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (PMP, LEED, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, design, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project delivery methods.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Local Regulations: Familiarity with UAE construction codes, safety standards, and regulations is essential.

Pay: AED40,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
