Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee scaffold construction projects from planning through completion while also supporting estimating and proposal development. This role is responsible for coordinating project schedules, managing field crews, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring scaffold installations are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The position works closely with field teams, customers, and internal leadership to deliver safe and efficient access solutions across multiple project sites. This role is based in Altoona, PA with travel to regional job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scaffold construction projects from initial planning through installation and project closeout
  • Prepare project estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and installation requirements
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and scope to develop accurate cost proposals
  • Coordinate schedules with field supervisors, crews, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met
  • Track project costs, labor hours, and materials to maintain profitability and budget compliance
  • Conduct site visits to review project requirements, safety conditions, and installation logistics
  • Communicate with clients regarding project progress, scheduling, and scope changes
  • Manage project documentation including proposals, contracts, change orders, and progress reports
  • Ensure all scaffold installations meet safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in scaffolding, industrial services, or specialty construction trades
  • Experience preparing estimates, bids, or cost proposals for construction-related projects
  • Knowledge of scaffold systems, access solutions, or construction site operations preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, and project schedules
  • Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project documentation tools
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
